Water is still rough with more wide surf today. Big waves all afternoon and will calm down into the evening. The rest of the week will calm a little more, then pick back up on Friday. With a possible small craft advisory. High tide today is 11 AM at the Indian River Inlet. The spring tide will calm down after today’s high tide. The rough surf will not.

Small Craft Advisory continues for the ocean through tonight.
Elevated seas 6-8 feet across southern ocean waters will subside
to around 5 feet tonight. For New Jersey ocean waters, seas
will average 4-6 feet today and tonight. North winds will gust
25-30 kt into this afternoon before diminishing to 20 kt later
today and tonight.
For Lower Delaware Bay, wind gusts to 25 kt will continue through
late this morning.

Week Outlook…
Tuesday… SCA conditions, due to seas, are expected to continue
through Tuesday. Seas will subside from north to south and have
staggered the end time of the SCA to reflect this with the northern
waters ending by Tuesday evening and the southern waters by late
Tuesday night.
Wednesday through Thursday…Sub-SCA conditions are expected on the
area waters.
Friday…Seas and winds increase across the area waters. A SCA may
be needed for Friday.
